The most important part of Story Quest is to actually send your stories to the Story Pirates by clicking the button below! We’ll read every single story and respond to each with a positive, personalized note of encouragement. We call this Story Love!

If it is easier to mail your stories, please contact storyquest@storypirates.org for a pre-paid mailing label, and drop them off at your nearest Post Office.
Story Submission FAQ
We didn’t have time to finish all of the stories. Should we still send them? Absolutely! Stories don’t have to be finished. The Story Pirates value and will gladly read every story, even if it’s a draft or still in progress.
What if we wrote the stories electronically? That’s great. Please fill out this form to submit your stories digitally and send using one of two formatting options:
Attach a Google Drive or Dropbox link to the stories, ensuring that the viewing permissions are set to “anyone with the link”
Directly upload the document/s in pdf format in the attachment field
If you are making one large file, please just be sure to label the document with the teacher’s name and classroom.
What happens to our Stories after they are submitted? Story Love notes will be returned to you digitally for you to distribute to the teachers and students within approximately 7 weeks. Each note will have the student’s name, teacher, and grade on it to aid this process. We will also provide a link to scans of the stories if you need to cross-reference a child’s story to their note. If you mailed us your stories, we will mail back the original copies at the completion of the Story Love process. Along with Story Love, you will also receive a personalized surprise for your students!
