On a very hot day in the Pacific Ocean, two very cruel pirates were on a quest to find hidden treasure that the Indians buried 5,000 years ago. The pirate with the beard was named Rocky Dangerbuff and the other pirate who always had a smirk on his face was named Billy Billy. The two pirates were on a small boat. The pirates started getting hot and sea sick. Billy Billy kept asking if they could turn around, but Rocky Dangerbuff said, "We will never leave until we get the treasure!" One day when Billy Billy was looking in the distance, he saw a little peice of land. Billy Billy shouted with excitement, "Land! Land!" Rocky Dangerbuff put full speed toward the island. They landed safely on the island. Rocky Dangerbuff said, "The treasure must be on this island."
"I'll get the shovels," Billy Billy said.
After a very long time of digging sand, Rocky Dangerbuff felt something hard. It was the treasure! They hurried to get the heavy box out of the hole. Rocky Dangerbuff opened the chest. There were beautiful diamonds, rubies, and gold.
"We are rich!" exclaimed Billy Billy. "Let's get off this island with this big chest."
But as they started to walk off the island, they saw a big shark surrounding the island.
"Oh no, the shark is going to eat us! How do we defeat it?"
"I know," Rocky Dangerbuff said.
He grabbed a big, sharp crystal from the chest and threw it on the sharks head. The shark got knocked out. He started sinking into the ocean. The two pirates ran as fast as they could on to the boat and sailed away and they never saw the shark again.
